IYSA Development Camps

Illinois Youth Soccer Association’s purpose is to operate soccer programs where young people can learn to develop positive character traits and have positive learning experiences to reach their potential.  To that end, The Illinois Youth Soccer Association has teamed up with Coerver Coaching, the World's #1 Soccer Skills Teaching Method, to present the highest quality camp program available by launching IYSA Development Camps for summer 2012.

Why Host an IYSA Development Camp?

IYSA Development Camps are aimed at recreational clubs and associations and will focus on creating a fun environment to develop individual skills using the Coerver Coaching method.  The Coerver Curriculum focusses on maximum ball contact and small sided games to improve fundamental balls skills and technique in a challenging, fun and dynamic setting and is regarded as the Worlds #1 Training Method for young soccer players. An IYSA Development Summer Camp is a great addition for any host organizations' program and is a great way for young soccer players to acquire skills while having fun during the summer months.

Host organizations will get:

• 12-15 hours of training from some of Coerver Coaching’s top instructors

• Low cost to participants that includes camp t-shirt  

• Fundraising opportunity for host leagues/clubs and associations

• A FREE coaching clinic to league coaches of host organization/club

• Online Registration available for all participants

Coaching Staff:

The IYSA Development Camp staff are dynamic, professional coaches extensively trained in the Coerver Coaching curriculum.  They have an extensive playing background and, most importantly, the ability to communicate with young soccer players so they can best learn and retain the skills being taught during the camp. 

How to host a camp:
